One of the most impressive and versatile fabric covered building models in the industry, Pavilion’s Texan provides superior usable internal space due to a unique leg design.

The Pavilion Texan has the fortitude, strength, and capacity to meet the biggest fabric-covered building needs – anywhere! With an extensive range of standard widths ranging from 40’ to 160’, Pavilion’s Texan is specifically engineered to handle the big jobs.

The Pavilion Texan Series offers tremendous strength and durability in a clear span design. The Pavilion Texan Series are site specifically engineered to withstand the wind and snow loads for each individual project and are engineered for use worldwide.

Project specific engineer-sealed drawings are provided for all Texan® projects ensuring the building is certified and designed accordingly for the local and national building codes. This allows for ease in obtaining all permit documentation. Any custom design work required for a project is automatically included in the engineered package provided. Pavilion does not provide generic drawing packages; each engineering package is site and project specific, which reduces permit processing.

Pavilion Texan® buildings are available in standard widths from 44 to 164 feet and can be ordered in any length. Larger Texan buildings and/or its sister the Everest® style buildings can be custom designed up to 300′ clearspan. The design of the Texan Series allows an extension to be added to the building at any time. The Texan Series consists of 3 truss sizes 24”, 36” and 48”. The truss sizes vary depending on the wind and snow loads of each particular area.

Texan Series 1: 44’, 54’, 64’, 74’, 84′, 94′

Constructed of welded 3″x3″ 0.125 wall (1/8″ thickness) parallel HSS square steel tubes spaced 36″ apart and strengthened by 2 crisscrossing 1″x1″ 0.100 wall square HSS structural webbing.

44′ to 74′ = 3.0 lbs per sq. ft.
84′ = 3.2 lbs per sq. ft.
94′ = 4.0 lbs per sq. ft.

Texan Series 2: 104’, 114’, 124’

Constructed of welded 5″x3″ 0.1875 wall (3/16″ thickness) parallel HSS square steel tubes spaced 36″ apart and strengthened by 1 crisscrossing 3″x2″ 0.125 wall square HSS structural webbing.

104′ to 124′ = 5.0 lbs per sq. ft.

Texan Series 3: 144’, 164’

Constructed of welded 5″x3″ 0.1875 wall (3/16″ thickness) parallel HSS square steel tubes spaced 48″ apart and strengthened by 1 crisscrossing 3″x2″ 0.125 wall square HSS structural webbing.
