This building could easily be mistaken as a concert hall or even a recreational facility to house masses of people rather than a shed to store Salt and Sand.
From a dream born in 2008 to a completed building in 2010. The process of bringing together all the elements for a Salt & Sand shed and complete works yard took some thought and lots of hard work. The building you see above is the completed shed for the New Market, Ontario highways works yard, with an 80’ wide vestibule and 104’ wide main building this structure is a beauty to look at and work in. From the intricate and fully engineered block foundation to the spider weave cover on the building the this gem is hard to ignore.
Even with snow on the cover of this building the immense amount of light coming in through the super tough super resilient spider weave cover is incredible. Well lit and dry are just two of the advantages of our fabric covered buildings as a solution to covering up almost anything no matter how big or small. Tall doors and high ceilings mean that getting equipment and vehicles out of this building are a breeze. This building is 104’ wide and 168’ long including the 80’ wide vestibule at the front giving you over 16,000 square feet of usable space.
168′ long x 104′ wide, vestibule 20′ long x 80′ wide.
